Czech Republic: USK Praha Set Sights On Next Round

ZVVZ USK Praha coach Lubor Blazek is desperate for the second win that would guarantee his side a place in the next round of the EuroLeague Women.

The Czechs have a record of 1-7 so far in Group B and head to Bourges on Wednesday still not certain of advancing to the Eighth-Final Play-offs.

Blazek said: "We have to approach every game with the intention of winning it.

"It is not sensible to wait for the end - it could be very risky.

"It is true that we can advance from our group with only one win but we need two wins to be sure and we will do our best for that."

Praha were narrowly defeated 57-53 in the reverse fixture in November and Blazek insists his side's display gives them hope in France.

He added: "We lost to Bourges by four points at home and only when Evanthia Maltsi decided the game for the visitors.

"We have played well on the road, except for the game in Pecs, and I hope it will be the same on Wednesday."
