Czech Republic: Blazek Proud Despite Defeat

USK Prague coach Lubor Blazek remained proud of his team even after they crashed out of the EuroLeague Women at the hands of Spartak Moscow Region.

Spartak cruised to a 82-54 victory in Tuesday's first game, but they were made to work harder in a 67-52 win on Friday and Blazek was delighted with the way his troops performed.

"We lost another game in EuroLeague in the last minutes, but there is nothing to be ashamed of today," he said.

"We played very strong opponents. We had nothing to lose, but we did not have enough power in the final minutes.

"Spartak utilised all the good positions they got in to and scored many points from them, that is the  difference between them and us.

"But we did not play badly today."
