France: BCM Boosted By New Blood

04.12.2006

BCM Gravelines will be hoping that new faces will spur them to victory when they return to EuroCup action against BC Siauliai on Tuesday.

The French club have secured the signature of swingman Pat Carroll until the end of the season while Paccelis Morlende, who has been sidelined for the last three weeks with a calf problem, should be fit to return to the team.

Twenty-four-year-old Carroll will replace the injured Thomas Dubiez in attack.

The American, released by Dallas Mavericks prior to the start of the current NBA season, has prior European experience thanks to a stint in Italy last year.

And he has already showed his worth to the club, pouring in 12 points against Le Mans in the 13th round of the Pro A on Sunday in a game BCM eventually lost 65-61.

BCM (2-2) currently sit third in EuroCup Group D behind Maccabi Rishon Le Zion and Akasvayu Girona while Tuesday's opponents Siauliai prop up the rest with a 0-3 record.
