France: Gravelines Edge Dijon

Gravelines-Dunkerque came out on top against Dijon as the LNB`s two EuroCup teams clashed on Saturday night.

Nigerian Uche Nsonwu-Amadi led the way for Gravelines with 15 points, but it was a balanced attack as four of his team-mates joined him in double figures.

Jerome Schmitt (14), Rickey Paulding (12), Rahshon Turner (11) and Dainius Adomaistis (10) all helped Gravelines take a narrow early lead, 19-16 at the end of the first quarter, before pulling away to lead 40-30 at the break.

TJ Lux had 15 points and Maleye Ndoye 14 in vain for Dijon, who see Gravelines edge above them in the standings.

Also on Saturday, Daniel McClintock poured in 18 points as early leaders Nancy kept rolling with a 75-64 win at Bourg.

Aaron Harper (21) led the way for second-placed Roanne in a high-scoring affair as they won 103-93 at Hyeres-Toulon, while Chalon/Saone, who also have six wins and one loss, edged out Clermont 63-61.

Elsewhere, Paris Racing Basket won 80-77 at Orleans, Le Mans beat Le Havre 92-78, Strasbourg won 83-71 at home to Choley, and Besancon were 80-73 victors at Reims.
