In what proved to be a lacklustre affair, Bologna managed to build a small lead in the first quarter which they then protected with little difficulty for the remainder of the contest. |

It has been a magical ride since 32-year old Mariano de Pablos took over Estudiantes.
The club had been mired in a season-long slump, but following de Pablos’ appointment, the Madrid-based side ran of a string of 11 consecutive wins prior to Friday’s tilt with Girona. |
