Greece: Sharp Shooting Panionios Sink Patras

Panionios put forth an incredible long range shooting display to beat Apollon Patras 88-59 and reach the summit in Greece.

Luca Pavicevic's men, who slipped to 2-1 in Group G of the EuroCup after an 86-83 midweek setback at PBC CSKA Sofia, made 13 of 17 from the arc on Saturday en route to victory.

Efstratios Perperoglou was four of five from three-point land and finished with 20 points while Kennedy Winston made three of four and scored 18 points.

Panionios only held a 34-30 lead at half-time, but they then ran away with the victory in the third period.

After taking a 41-34 advantage, they reeled off 12 consecutive points, sparked by Panagiotis Kafkis' three-pointer and capped by another three-ball from Winston.

In other games on Saturday, Egaleo prevailed 85-76 over Olimpia Larisa, PAOK defeated Makedonikos 89-67 and AEK thumped Olimpiada Patron 75-53.
