Panionios moved into pole position in EuroCup Group G following an impressive 80-62 victory over Ural Great Perm.

| Andre Hutson led the way with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Greek side, who now have a 3-2 record in a pool which is set to go the wire in next week's final games.
Both teams exchanged baskets in the opening stages, but a six-point run midway through the first quarter helped Panionios establish a slender 14-11 advantage.
The game continued to be a tight affair in the second period, although Ural Great launched a 9-0 run in the last three minutes of the half to ensure the Ukrainian visitors held a 28-26 lead at the interval.
Panionios began to pull away in the third quarter however, with Hutson making five of six free throws, before 14 points without reply in the final period earned the hosts a comfortable win.
Guard Efstratios Perperoglou added 19 points for Panionios, while Samuel Hoskin led Ural Great's scorers with 14 points. |
