Maroussi stunned Panionios with a late 10-0 run to win the battle of EuroCup teams 66-62 on Saturday night.

Eleftheris Kakiousis' men trailed 60-54 after a pair of free throws by former Maroussi star Andre Hutson, but they battled back and eventually took the lead for good with a basket from Konstantinos Charalampidis.

A Renaldas Seibutis three-pointer with 38 seconds remaining then stretched the advantage to 64-60 and Maroussi held on.

Seibutis led seventh-place Maroussi, who face Azovmash in Round II of the EuroCup this week, with 17 points.

Third-place Panionios did not have a single player score in double figures.

In their EuroCup game, they travel to Russia to face Lokomotiv Rostov.
