Germano Zama Faenza earned a berth in the EuroCup Women final with a convincing victory over Dynamo Moscow Region in game two of their semi-final match-up.

Faenza needed to overcome a three-point deficit to book a place in the final and did it in style, beating Dynamo 66-54.

Italian international guard Simona Ballardini was the hero of the night for Faenza as she exploded for 26 points, six rebounds and three assists.

The home side did nearly all their damage in the first half on their way to a 42-27 lead after 20 minutes.

After Ballardini missed two early shots, Faenza hit six of their next seven field goal attempts to take a 15-4 lead at the midway point of the first quarter.

Dynamo cut the lead to six at the end of the period, 19-14, but were on the receiving end of another offensive onslaught after the break.

An Emanuela Ramon three-pointer sparked another run for Faenza and they led 29-16 after four minutes of play, before closing out the half 42-27.

Faenza were able to protect a lead that always stayed in double digits and reached as many as 20 points.

Dynamo were left a mountain to climb in the final 10 minutes, trailing by 20 points, 58-38. It was a task that proved simply too large to overcome and Faenza held on for the win and a trip to the final where they will face Dynamo Moscow.
