Izmir has been selected as the host city of the 2013 EuroChallenge Final Four, set to take place from 26 - 28 April.

Izmir, the home city of Final Four participants, Pinar Karsiyaka, has a proud basketball tradition, having also acted as a host city of the first round of the 2010 FIBA World Championship.

"Izmir is renowned as being a basketball city, and I have every confidence that Pinar Karsiyaka, in conjunction with the local municipal authorities, will put on a truly memorable event," said FIBA Europe Secretary General Kamil Novak.

In the semi-finals set to take place on Friday 26 April, BCM Gravelines will take on Krasnye Krylia, whilst Pinar Karsiyaka meet EWE Baskets Oldenburg.
