During the first weekend of April, the second wheelchair basketball referee refresher clinic for the 2010-2014 cycle, took place in Vodice, Croatia.

The three tutors, Norbert Kucera, Zarko Tomisc and FIBA Europe's Davorin Nakic, all made presentations at the clinic. Similar to the first clinic, the referee's mental and physical stamina was tested with the uses of theory - including an English language test - and physical tests.

Additionally, Norbert Kucera of the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation's (IBWF) also took a session on wheelchair handling.

FIBA Europe's continuing commitment to wheelchair basketball was reflected by the presence and involvement of Nakic in the clinic, with the FIBA Europe referee instructor running two courses.

The third, and last clinic in the cycle, will take place in Surry, Great Britain in the second week of October.

IWBF Europe would like to thank the Croatian Paralympic Committee and in particular Krunoslav Peic for hosting the clinic.
