If you are one of the participants of the 2011 FIBA Europe Clinic for National Instructors and Potential Referees in Gran Canaria these days, that involves being physically present on the island and work hard as well as attending the Clinic sessions.
But even if you are not one of the participants you may still be able to attend all sessions remotely, from anywhere in the world - which, by the way, also involves skipping the hard work part.
In yet another first the FIBA Europe Referee department has made all the sessions of the Clinic available online on the event's website, giving the opportunity for anyone interested to follow the day-to-day proceedings.
The service is provided by the FIBA Europe Techno Centre with support by the University of Las Palmas on the island of Gran Canaria, Spain.
"This is another step in our continuous effort to raise the service to the sport of basketball," commented FIBA Europe's Head of Operations, Miguel Betancor.
"This is one of the top events of the year when it comes to officiating and for people who are able and interested to follow it online it can only be beneficial," Betancor added.
To watch the live sessions please check the section LIVE, under the website of the event, http://events.cead.ulpgc.es or check the VIDEOS section for highlights of previous days.
