KRKA Novo Mesto will find it difficult to replicate the sort of campaign they just enjoyed.
Winners of the EuroChallenge, the club coached by Aleksandar Dzikic defended its Slovenian league title by beating Union Olimpija in a Game 5 showdown, 64-57.
Zoran Dragic finished with 12 points, 13 rebounds and three steals for KRKA and was named MVP of the finals.
KRKA's Goran Ikonic, who was the MVP of the EuroChallenge Final Four, paid tribute to the club's fans.
"Thanks to all supporters for the encouragement they gave us throughout the year.
"We were well aware of how tough the game would be and how tough of an opponent Olympia is.
"But I think we were really better and that we have deserved this title."
Center Smiljan Pavic, who has been outstanding for KRKA this season, said: "This was an unforgettable game.
"We strived to make every effort, did our best and at the end for the second year in a row were better than Olimpija.
KRKA boss Aleksandar Dzikic, who could be one of the best coaches in Europe, spoke with a lot of pride about the sacrifice his players showed this season.
"These guys that I coached are great people and great basketball players and I am very happy that I was able to work with them," he said.
"These are the heroes that know that team success is more important than individual statistics."
