Zalgiris Kaunas have put Greek boss Elias Zouros in charge of the team.
Zouros, the Eurocup Coach of the Year last season at Panellinios after leading the side to a surprise appearance in the last four, will have a baptism of fire with his new team.
The Lithuanian giants, unbeaten at 11-0 in the LKL, will open their Euroleague Top 16 campaign on Wednesday at Power Electronics Valencia.
Aco Petrovic began the season as the coach of Zalgiris but was let go despite a very strong start in all competitions.
Rimantas Grigas was then put in charge of the Kaunas team in December but lasted just several weeks at the helm.
Last year, Zalgiris owner Vladimir Romanov fired coach Darius Maskoliunas during the LKL Finals.
Zalgiris had also been linked in the Lithuanian media with Lokomotiv Kuban boss and national team coach, Kestutis Kemzura, and former Zalgiris and Lithuania coach, Jonas Kazlauskas.
The Kaunas outfit takes on Rudupis on Saturday night.
