Big favourites ZVVZ USK Prague need just one more victory to sweep Frisco Sika Brno and complete a successful Czech title defense. Lubor Blazek's team followed up their 99-80 demolition of Brno in the opener with an 88-61 triumph in Game 2. Michaela Zrustova finished with 18 points, Delisha Milton-Jones had 15 and Katerina Elhotova 13 for Prague. The winners were on top, 73-37 with one quarter still to play and were outscored 24-15 the rest of the way. The last 10 minutes did not leave Blazek, who is also the Czech Republic national team coach, satisfied. "For us, it was a tough game and we did our best to win here," he said. "In the last quarter, we lacked concentration and the performance changed." Prague can wrap up the title with a win on Tuesday in front of their own fans. |
