Wisla Can-Pack Krakow didn't finish the season empty-handed after winning the Polish league with a 3-1 victory over CCC Polkowice in the play-off finals.

After rolling to 70-52 and 64-52 triumphs in the opening two games of the series, Krakow hit the road and lost Game 3, 67-58.

They were in danger of falling in Game 4 on Sunday, too, but prevailed 52-50.

Belarus center Yelena Leuchanka had 13 points and 14 rebounds for Wisla, with Poland center Ewelina Kobryn adding 10 points.

Leuchanka, who will be among the leading players at the EuroBasket in Poland come June, was voted MVP of the Finals.

"I'm proud of my teammates and the whole staff," she said.

"We won the Polish championship so I'm very happy.

"We were a team and therefore deserved the title."
