Great Britain: Rodman, Brighton Go On Pay-Per-View

Basketball fans around the world will have the opportunity to see former NBA rebounding champion Dennis Rodman suit up with the Genesis Brighton Bears tomorrow in the British Basketball League.

ITV Local will stream the Brighton Bears - Newcastle Eagles game on Tuesday, 14 February on a pay-per-view basis. The game will be broadcast live through

The deal between the club and ITV’s broadband venture is a unique agreement for the game.

“Dennis Rodman is great entertainment and is truly an NBA legend,” said Bears coach Nick Nurse. “We are excited to see this event take place around the globe!”

Rodman signed a one-game contract with Brighton last month. In his first outing, he scored four points in 26 minutes.

The club announced Rodman would play in the game on Tuesday as well as on Wednesday.
