Serbia Back In Belgrade

26 July 2010

Dusan Ivkovic will reconvene his Serbia team today in Belgrade as they continue their preparations for the FIBA World Championship in Turkey, in late August.

The team have spent the last two weeks in training camp, where they impressed Ivkovic with the way they were coming together.

The coach gave the players a rest over the weekend, and they will then gather again for a further week's training before heading to Istanbul for a warm-up tournament involving Turkey and Iran.

"We have made a quality foundation," Ivkovic said. "We are in excellent condition. The players and the coaches, gave all of themselves.

"The most important thing is that we have not had any problems with injuries."
