FIBA Europe meets ULEB

Unresolved issues, but dialogue continues

FIBA Europe and ULEB representatives met today at the headquarters in Geneva. The meeting was hosted by FIBA Secretary General Patrick Baumann and Secretary General Emeritus Borislav Stankovic. FIBA Europe was represented by President George Vassilakopoulos and Executive Director Nar Zanolin. ULEB was represented by President Eduardo Portela and Euroleague CEO Jordi Bertomeu.

In this first step the meeting helped to identify the common grounds as well as the critical issues of a future cooperation. In order to further discuss the critical issues it was agreed that the parties will meet again on July 4th 2004 in Munich, Germany.
