Galatasaray still have a pulse in the Turkish women play-off finals.

On the verge of elimination after falling twice to Fenerbahce, Ceyhun Yıldızoğlu's side hit back to win Game 3 on Tuesday, 92-86.

Diana Taurasi led the way with 34 points, a display which saw her nail three of seven shots from behind the arc.

Gala won despite losing the battle of the boards for a third consecutive time.

They were out-rebounded 42-32.

Having already defeated Fenerbahce in the Turkish Cup final, Gala will know they have the ability to beat Fenerbahce in two straight games to lift the domestic title and that's especially true when considering that Penny Taylor is out of action with an ACL injury.

"I congratulate my teammates and our team," Galatasaray guard Isil Alben said.

"Our opponents played well.

"However, we've only won one game.

"We have to have the same effort on Thursday."

Angel McCoughtry finished with 24 points and nine rebounds for Fener.

Nantes Rezé and Basket Landes were convincing winners in the opening games of their Challenge Round ties on Tuesday evening in France.

Nantes look to have an unassailable lead after winning at home against Tarbes, 86-58.

Sarah Michel had 21 points and France international Johanne Gomis 20 in the victory.

Nantes had a 44-23 stranglehold on proceedings by half-time and cruised the rest of the way.

Tarbes, winless in the EuroLeague Women this season, were only 17 of 45 (38%) inside the arc while Nantes hit 34 of 68 (57%).

Basket Landes powered their way to a 56-44 triumph at home against Hainaut Basket.

Jennifer Humphrey poured in 12 points and Justyna Zurowska 10 for Landes.

While the teams are not in the hunt for the French title, they are trying to finish as high as possible to strengthen their bids to qualify for the EuroCup Women.

Meanwhile, the sides that still have a chance to capture the French LFB championship are in action on Wednesday.

Mondeville host Bourges and Challes-les-Eaux are at home to Lattes Montpellier.

Bourges (22-4) won the regular season ahead of Lattes Montpellier (21-5) and Challes-les-Eaux (19-7).

Mondeville came in fourth with 15 wins and 11 defeats.

UNIQA-Euroleasing Sopron won the Hungarian Cup and they have a 1-0 lead in their play-off final showdown with Uni Seat Gyõr heading into Thursday's Game 2.

Norbert Székely's team rolled to a 79-60 victory in Game 1.

Zsófia Fegyverneky had 20 points and Diana Fürész 16 in the win.

Both Sopron and Gyõr played in the EuroLeague Women this season.

Gyõr will be the home side in Game 2.
