WAUTERS HEADS TO TURKEY
The dust has only just settled on Ros Casares' EuroLeague and Spanish Liga Femenina double-winning campaign and already one of the club's leading players is on the move to pastures new.
Ann Wauters, the 32-year-old Belgian superstar who spent this season with the Valencia club and led the team with averages of 14.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in Europe, has agreed terms with Galatasaray.
Galatasaray won the Turkish Cup.
The side hosted the EuroLeague Women Final Eight and came in fifth.
Gala also reached the Turkish play-off title series and lost, 3-1, to Fenerbahce.
BIG CHANGES AT PRAGUE
Czech ZBL champions USK Prague have decided to make sweeping changes.
The club has announced that Czech international center Petra Kulichova, veteran pivot Delisha Milton-Jones and her fellow American, guard Lindsay Whalen, will not be back for next season.
Also leaving are Swedish internationals Frida and Elin Eldebrink, Ukraine's Viktoria Mircheva and Spanish veteran Anna Montanana.
Prague's rivals Frisco Brno have confirmed, meanwhile, that they will have talks with former star Hana Horakova about her possible return to the club.
