Holders Elan Chalon knocked off Limoges in the Coupe de France (French Cup) final for the second year in a row on Sunday.

Gregor Beugnot's side, winners of the Semaine des As earlier this season, prevailed 83-75 with sharpshooter Ilian Evtimov scoring a game-high 28 points.

Evtimov did most of his damage from behind the arc, making eight of 16 three-pointers.

He was named as the MVP of the final.

Blake Schilb also wreaked havoc with 24 points for Chalon, the beaten finalists in this season's EuroChallenge final against Besiktas Milangaz.

On top 44-38 at half-time, Chalon outscored Limoges 26-14 in the third quarter to take a firm grip on the contest.

Limoges, who are in the French Pro B, continued to battle but got no closer than seven points in the final frame.
