Antonis Fotsis - Olimpia Milano
Antonis Fotsis and Olimpia Milano will try to dethrone Montepaschi Siena in the finals

Emporio Armani Milano will square off against five-time defending champions Montepaschi Siena for the Italian Lega A.

That was assured on Monday night when Sergio Scariolo's side won Game 4 of their play-off semi-final on Monday night at Scavolini Siviglia Pesaro, 73-67.

Greece national team captain Antonis Fotsis poured in 17 points for Milano in the victory.

Milano only led 41-38 at half-time but stretched that to 62-54 by the end of the third.

Twice late in the contest, Pesaro reduced the arrears to just two points after baskets by Marco Cusin and Richard Hickman but each time, Milano drew fouls and went to the line to make free-throws to go back on top by four.

Montepaschi, who split their regular season series with Milano, swept Banco di Sardegna Sassari in three games to advance to the title series.

Milano and Montepaschi met in the 2008 and '09 play-off finals and the Siena team won both times, 4-0.

Last season, Simone Pianigiani's team defeated Bennet Cantu, 4-1, in the title series.

The opening game of the Lega A play-off finals will be on 9 June at Siena.
