Sara Krnjic is on her first run with the senior Serbian national team. The center has participated in as many as seven Youth European Championships from U16 to U20.
Sara will regularly feature on FIBAEurope.com to share her experiences of travelling and playing around Europe, as Serbia try to qualify for EuroBasket Women 2013 in France.
At this moment in our group, Group B, Montenegro and Poland are standing at the top with only one loss and we are in third place with two losses.
It will be a good fight between the three of us! We are highly motivated to play in France next year.
As you could probably see, we play very aggressively and strong at home in front of our fans.
That happened last Saturday, when Montenegro came to our house.
We jumped on them from the first minute of the game and we didn't give in until the end.
At the end we played better and we celebrated!
Since it was Nevena Jovanovic's (that's my roommate by the way!!!) birthday that day, the victory was even better and after the game we all sang the 'happy birthday' song along with our fans in the stands!
Our next game is in Switzerland this Saturday and we are very well prepared!
