The second and final day of the Gran Canaria 3on3 Master Final concluded in Plaza de la Música, in the Gran Canaria capital Las Palmas, on Saturday evening.
It was the day of the champions and the weather conditions were fittingly perfect for the occasion.

The teams that had qualified from the regional tournaments throughout the last two months battled it out against a beautiful backdrop next to the Alfredo Kraus auditorium for the Master Final title in their respective categories.

The competition started at 10am with the final group games and the qualifying rounds for the dunk contest and the 3-point contest.
The finals in all categories started at 3pm and by the end of the day 113 games had taken place in Plaza de la Música, more than 200 in total over the two days of the Master Final.

The approximately 3,000 fans who chose to spend their Saturday in plaza de la Musica were treated to a unique 3on3 basketball spectacle which was not without its dose of drama and suspense.
The latter was in great supply in the senior category, courtesy of eventual champions ‘Yetsema'.

In the semi-final, they defeated' Streetflavour' with a shot just 3.8 seconds before the final buzzer, while in the final they stunned favourites ‘Team Money' in overtime, after they had tied the scores, 9-9, with an even more incredible buzzer-beater at the end of regulation.

"We're all about to turn 40 soon, so this win tastes especially sweet," said the winners after receiving their trophy from Lucas Bravo de Laguna, Chief Executive of the Sports Council of Gran Canaria.

‘Loyola' were the champions in the Juniors/Cadets category after defeating ‘Evecan' 10-7 in the final and received their award from the Councillor for Sports of the Las Palmas Municipality, which was one of the supporters of the event.
‘Team Jordan' defeated ‘Granca Guanche' 13-10 in the final to clinch the Children's category title.

Nat Lawrence wowed spectators with this skills and won the dunk contest while Luis Suarez shot down all competition to win the 3-point contest and women's team ‘Dulces Caprichos' earned the Fair Play award.
