Club Team 2012-13: Kibirkstis Vilnius (Lithuania-LMKL) Career: Laisve Kaunas (Lithuania-LMKL, 2007-2011), VICI-Aistes Kaunas (Lithuania-LMKL, 2011-12), Kibirkstis Vilnius (Lithuania-LMKL, 2012-13)
Whilst Kvederaviciute grabbed a place on the end of the bench at EuroBasket Women 2011, she didn't feature prominently and didn't compete during qualification last summer either. However, she could be welcomed back onto the roster after proving her value last season with some excellent displays for Kibirkstis Vilnius. The guard was named MVP of the Final Four after taking her team to the top of the podium with 44 points across the semi-final and title game. She has really found her range from behind the three-point line and poured in an impressive 14 points-per-game in the Lithuanian League. She is a skilled guard who can also rebound well and some have described her efforts last season as being a breakthrough year which could translate to increased court time with the senior national team in France. |
