Career: USK Prague (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2006-08), Kara Trutnov (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2008-09), VS Prague (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2009-11)
22-year-old Kamila Stepanova remains a promising prospect for the senior National Team and while she has yet to really breakthrough at the elite level, she is still young and there's plenty of room for her to develop. She has put in plenty of solid performances in European club competiton and is one of the stars for VS Prague in the Czech Republic league. She played for her country at the various youth levels and while she didn't make the cut for EuroBasket Women 2009, she did play well at the World University Games in Belgrade during the same year. A center who isn't afraid to drift to the perimeter and make space for others inside or drain a three-pointer if open, she could be an interesting option for Coach Blazek. |
