Deron Williams - Besiktas
Deron Williams led all scorers with 31 points in arguably his best game in a Besiktas shirt so far

Besiktas Milangaz stayed red hot and blew away Armia in EuroChallenge Group B on Tuesday night in Istanbul.

Joint top of the BEKO Basketbol Ligi with five wins in as many games, Besiktas emphatically defeated Armia, 103-82.

Deron Williams had a game-high 31 points for the Turkish club, who won for the second week in a row in the EuroChallenge.

The hosts only led 30-28 three minutes into the second quarter when they reeled off eight straight points.

Williams made one of two free-throws and David Hawkins split a pair before Mehmet Yagmur pulled up and hit a three-ball.

Besiktas capped the spurt with two more free-throws from Williams and found themselves on top, 38-28.

The advantage ballooned to 49-33 when Hawkins buried a jump shot but Armia came back.

A Jeremy Richardson three-pointer reduced the deficit to 51-41.

An Ersin Dagli tip-in and Hawkins jump shot allowed Besiktas to go to the changing rooms in front, however, 55-41.

Armia showed signs of life after the restart.

Richardson scored after catching an alley-oop pass from Guillermo Diaz and then hit a jumper to close the gap to 60-53.

That took the sharpshooting guard's points haul to 17.

Besiktas responded with a 9-1 run, though, with Williams scoring five of the points.

A 7-0 spurt at the end of the quarter gave Ergin Ataman's side an 80-61 stranglehold on the contest and they cruised to victory.

Semih Erden finished with 20 points and nine rebounds for Besiktas.

Marcelus Kemp added 18, Hawkins 17 and Dagli 10.

Besiktas out-rebounded the visitors, 37-31.

Richardson and Will Thomas had 20 points apiece for Armia, who fell to 1-1.
