Arras beat Nantes Rezé 78-70 on Sunday in a battle of French sides that are also taking part in the EuroCup Women.
Both outfits have commanding leads in their respective Sixteenth-Finals ties in Europe with the seconds legs to be played this week.
In their French domestic showdown, Arras led 32-31 at the break but then outscored the away side 10-3 in the first five minutes of the second half and held on for a 78-70 win.
Pauline Akonga had 22 points and Leilani Mitchell 18 in the win.
ESB Lille Metropole, the other French outfit still in EuroCup Women but facing a 64-52 first-leg deficit against Jolly JBS Euroline, were thrashed 66-41 at Challes-les-Eaux.
