|Veteran Aliaksandr Kudrautsau had 20 points for Minsk in the big home win|
Tsmoki Minsk put their domestic troubles to one side to pour on the misery for struggling Pizza Express Apollon with a 93-62 victory.
Minsk have got off to a poor start in the Belarusian League, but not as bad as the visitors from Apollon who remain winless at home and abroad, and they took advantage to record a moral-boosting win.
Minsk ran up the score in the final minutes, going on a 16-4 spurt to close the game and build their confidence.
The game had long been decided, with Minsk leading 38-29 at half-time and then using an 8-2 run to go 55-40 up midway through the third period on Dzianis Korshuk's three-pointer.
A 10-2 run had them up 67-48 going into the final period and it only got worse for Apollon down the stretch as Minsk never eased off, JaJuan Smith capping the victory with two three-pointers in the final 40 seconds.
Those shots made Smith the top scorer in the game with 22 as he overtook team-mate Aliaksandr Kudrautsau, who finished with 20.
Aliaksei Lashkevich also finished in double figures with 12 while Aliaksei Trastsinetski added 10.
The performance of Brandon Brown was one of the few bright spots for Apollon as he poured in 24 points and collected 13 rebounds.
Daryl Dorsey also scored in double figures with 10 points.
