Artland Dragons thrilled their home fans with an 83-74 triumph over Triumph Lyubertsy to continue a very impressive campaign for the German team.
In third place in the BEKO BBL, Artland improved to 2-0 in the EuroChallenge Last 16 with the Group L victory.
Adam Hess had 18 points to lead the winners, who buried nine of 22 shots from behind the arc.
Triumph missed all 18 of their attempts from long range.
Artland took the lead for good in the first quarter when they outscored the visitors, 24-19.
Peavy had six points and Anthony King four in the opening frame.
The hosts stretched the advantage to 46-32 by half-time and never turned back.
Five players in all hit double figures in points for Artland.
Hess was three of four from long range while Nathan Peavy and Johannes Strasser were two of three.
Triumph fell despite getting a game-high 25 points and 11 rebounds from Jerry Jefferson.
Sergey Karasev had 21 points in a losing effort.
