Club Team 2012-13: Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Premier League)
Career: Buducnost Podgorica (Montenegro-Superleague 2005-09), Jolly Sibenik (Croatia-A1), FEA Neas Halkidonas (Greece-A1, 2010), Gospic Croatia (Croatia-A1, 2010-11), Spartak Noginsk (Russia-Premier League, 2011-12), Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Premier League, 2012-13)
After a super youth career for Montenegro which finished with almost 20 points-per-game at the U20 European Championship Women in Gdynia four years ago, the guard only played a limited role at EuroBasket Women 2011. However, she has had stops in four different countries at club level since then and has found success in the Russian League, having a solid debut season with Spartak Noginsk followed by a good follow-up season with Dynamo Moscow who went on to win EuroCup Women earlier this year. Whilst her statistical output was limited in the Russian capital, there's little doubt she can continue playing a pivotal role in the back court for Montenegro after being handed the second-most minutes last summer during qualification. A neat player, Aleksic makes decisive passes when needed, but the real test will be whether she can get her outside game firing on all cylinders.
