BC Kyiv went on a decisive run at the start of the fourth quarter and claimed a big win at EWE Baskets Oldenburg in the EuroChallenge Top 16.
Sasa Obradovic's team won the Group J clash 86-73.
They trailed 61-60 at the start of the fourth quarter but then struck with a 13-0 run to stun the German team.
Obradovic, who coached in Germany at RheinEnergie Koln before taking the reins of Kyiv this season, said: "This was nice game to watch. I think we beat a great German basketball team today.
"All in all, I'm satisfied with the way my team controlled the game, especially in the fourth quarter.
"In this competition, it is very important to win on the road."
"I'm proud how my team played today against a great European team," EWE Baskets boss Predrag Krunic said.
"Kyiv hit some big shots in the final quarter. That's what decided the game."
Kenan Bajramovic dunked at the start of the decisive spurt and then Clay Tucker, Goran Jeretin and Bajramovic hit three-pointers.
Bajramovic, who capped the run with a jump shot, had a team-high 20 points.
"In my opinion, we beat a great team today," Tucker said.
"I think it will be difficult for (Virtus) Bologna and (Galatasaray) Istanbul to win in this arena."
