Hollow Victory At Galatasaray For EWE Baskets
EWE Baskets Oldenburg finished their EuroChallenge Top 16 campaign with a victory at Galatasaray Café Crown on Tuesday but that wasn't enough to book a place in the Quarter-Finals.

Predrag Krunic's Oldenburg team won 89-82 to finish 3-3 in Group J but Virtus BolognaFiere's triumph at BC Kyiv earlier in the night left both Virtus and Kyiv in the last eight with 4-2 records.

EWE Baskets Maintain Hope After Sweeping Virtus

EWE Baskets Oldenburg beat Virtus BolognaFiere for the second time this season to maintain hope of advancing to the EuroChallenge Quarter-Finals.

After stunning Virtus in Italy with Je'Kel Foster's buzzer-beating three-pointer on February 3, the German outfit did the double over Virtus with a 73-64 win in Oldenburg on Tuesday night.

BC Kyiv finished on a sensational 22-4 run as they came from behind in the fourth quarter to beat EWE Baskets Oldenburg 64-54 in EuroChallenge Top 16 action on Tuesday night.

EWE Baskets Oldenburg experienced the thrill of a buzzer-beating victory last week at Virtus Bologna but on Tuesday the German outfit suffered the agony of a narrow home defeat to Galatasaray.

Turkish veteran center Hüseyin Besok poured in 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Galatasaray claimed a 93-85 triumph in Oldenburg - their first in the EuroChallenge Top 16.
