Cedevita Zagreb capped a very impressive comeback on Tuesday night to beat Elan Chalon over two legs and reach the Eurocup.
Down by 22 points in the fourth quarter in the first leg in France last week before battling back to lose only 78-73, Cedevita won the second meeting 84-69 in Croatia.
Dontaye Draper had 18 points and 10 assists for Cedevita, who buried 10 of 23 shots from behind the arc and outrebounded Elan Chalon, 41-26.
Trailing in the second leg 28-27 with three minutes to go in the first half, Cedevita went on a 11-2 run a 38-30 lead.
Chalon battled back and went on top 54-51 late in the third quarter after two Malcolm Delaney free-throws.
Cedevita were not to be denied, though.
When Ivan Opacak hit a jumper with 9:03 to play, the Croatians were in front in the second leg, 60-54, and they had the lead on aggregate for good.
Draper followed with a fast-break lay-up and Levour Warren nailed a three-pointer for a 65-54 lead.
Elan Chalon, who got 21 points from Blake Schilb, got no closer than nine the rest of the way.
Cedevita played in the Eurocup and made it to the Final Four last season, so they are headed back to the competition.
Elan Chalon will compete in the EuroChallenge.
