Elan Chalon won for the second game in a row in the EuroChallenge on Wednesday after an impressive fourth-quarter at Cedevita Zagreb. Jerome Tillman had 24 points and 12 rebounds for the French club, who trailed 68-67 after Damjan Rudez's three-pointer for Cedevita with 6:49 remaining in the game. Chalon got back-to-back baskets from Blake Schilb to take a 71-68 lead. After two free-throws from Canada international Jermaine Anderson reduced the arrears to one, Chalon scored seven straight points. Maxime Zianveni made a jumper and Philippe Braud followed with a three-ball before Tillman scored to make it 78-70. The Zagreb club refused to go away, though, and pulled to within 85-83 after another Rudez three-ball with 31 seconds to go. The visitors sank four free-throws the rest of the way and held on for a six-point win. Anderson finished with 20 points for Cedevita. |
