A superb rebounding presence, Ural could perhaps squeeze her way onto the final roster and especially since there is not a lot of depth in the frontcourt at the moment. She has been stuck behind a real queue at Kayseri and not seen a lot of court time, but this won't put off Coach Yildizoglu who is keen to integrate younger players at both ends of the court. She can do the dirty work on the glass coming off the bench, showing two years ago what she is all about, when she signed off her youth career with 13.4 rebounds-per-game at the U20 European Championship in Serbia. Now she is working hard to match her rebounding skills with more refined post moves and an improved execution of the pick and roll. The 22-year-old is still learning and despite relatively limited opportunities at club level, she is capable of stepping up to the plate and testing herself at senior level. The decisive factor could be how well she matches up with opponents defensively during preparation games. |
