Lithuania international Ausra Bimbaite led Dynamo Kursk to yet another victory with 22 points and 12 rebounds

Dynamo Kursk won for the third successive time in the EuroCup Women with an 81-72 Group F overtime triumph against visiting Maccabi Bnot on Wednesday.

Knotted at 69-69 after Plenette Pierson missed at the buzzer for the Israeli team, Kursk scored eight points without reply at the beginning of the extra period to take command.

When it was over, former VICI Aistes star Ausra Bimbaite, a Lithuania international, had 22 points and 12 rebounds for Kursk.

In defeat, Pierson walked off the court with 29 points and 12 boards.

Her teammate, Ashley Shields, chipped in 24 points.

Maccabi fell to 0-2 on the young season.

There was another thriller played in Russia with WBC Dynamo scraping a 70-69 Group A victory over Lombos of Portugal.

Veronika Dorosheva hit a go-ahead jumper and finished with 11 points for the winners.

The game was tied at 63-63 when Dorosheva struck and put her team in front for good.

Marina Khazova also had 11 points and pulled down nine rebounds for the winners, while Paula Muxiri scored a game-high 21 points and corralled seven rebounds in defeat.

In Group C, Nantes Reze were at home but slipped up against Dexia Namur.

Ifunanya Ibekwe led the way with 32 points and nine rebounds for the Belgian club in a 79-74 triumph.

Dexia trailed the French team going into the last quarter but outscored the hosts, 26-15.

Both sides are now 1-1 in Group C.

France's two other outfits in action on Wednesday won.

Hainaut Basket were at home to the Flying Foxes and prevailed, 75-68.

Marina Solopova, who made a lot of headlines last season in the EuroLeague Women with VICI Aistes and also represented Lithuania at the EuroBasket Women, had 21 points for Hainaut in the Group D game.

Hainaut are 2-0 and Flying Foxes 0-2.

Arras were at home and defeated Danish outfit, SISU Basketball, 70-54.

Gabriela Marginean had 23 points and seven boards for the winners.

Arras improved to 2-0 in Group E and SISU slumped to 0-2.

MBK Ruzomberok brushed aside Sdent Helios 84-45 to leave both sides 1-1 in Group G.

Katarina Tetemondov√° impressed for the Slovakians with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

They took command from the off, outscoring Sdent Helios 24-7 in the first quarter.
