While Romana Vynuchalova brings size to the Slovakian National team and a body that can match up physically with many opponents at the elite level, she also showed at EuroBasket Women 2009 that she can do a whole lot more at the offensive end. She claimed ten points against a strong Belarus frontcourt, showing her effectiveness in the low post. She also produced a strong performance in 2009 at the World University Games in Belgrade and has won trophies while playing in Austria as well as gaining critical experience in EuroCup Women. The daughter of former National Team player Jamila Vynuchalova, the 24-year-old spent last season playing in a strong Spanish league where she continued to improve her game. |
