Gran Canaria Comeback Eliminates Jolly JBS

Gran Canaria overturned a 22-point first-leg deficit and stunned Jolly JBS Sibenik to the advance to the Eighth-Finals Play-offs in the EuroCup Women.

After falling 62-40 last week in Croatia, the Spanish club blew out their opponents 71-45 on Thursday evening for a 111-107 aggregate triumph.

Aneika Henry's 14 points and 16 rebounds led the Canary Islanders.

Dunav Econt Ruse defeated K.V. Imperial AEL 77-75 but the Cypriot club won 168-142 over the two legs to advance.

Charel Allen had 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulgarian club, while AEL were led by Tanasha Wright's 24 points and seven boards.

Seat Györ rolled to a 83-68 triumph over Lemminkainen to prevail 157-128 over the two legs.

Anna Vida finished with 15 points for Györ.

Sony Athinaikos won 180-116 on aggregate after hitting the century mark in Greece.

The club claimed a 100-62 victory over ZKK Medvescak with Gintare Petronyte scoring 20 points for the winners.

Mann Filter defeated LMK SBC SF. Gheorghe 92-55 on Thursday evening and won over the two legs, 177-112.

BC Dnipro got 17 points and nine rebounds from new signing Olexandra Gorbunova but crashed to a 75-55 defeat at Ibiza Sport Island.

Krissy Bade scored 14 points for Ibiza, who won the tie 132-114 on aggregate.
