| 01.12.2010 EuroLeague Women Bourges exploded for 28 fourth-quarter points and claimed a decisive EuroLeague Women Group D victory at Gorzow in Poland on Wednesday. The French walked off the court in Poland with an 86-66 triumph - their fourth in six games. Bourges ace Catherine Joens had a season-high 26 points, which included a six-of-eight shooting rampage from long range. Gorzow, who led 40-30 late in the first half but couldn't press home the advantage, slipped to 2-4. The game was tied at 51-51 when Bourges took the lead for good. Ilona Burgrová scored four straight points on a jumper and two free-throws and Endene Miyem added a shot from the charity stripe and a jump shot to make it 58-51. Gorzow cut the deficit to 58-55 early in the fourth but then went off the rails as Bourges outscored them 28-13 in the frame. Yelena Leuchanka finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds for Gorzow. |
