A pair of free throws from Biljana Pavicevic (pictured) with 17 seconds remaining lifted KV Imperial AEL to a 63-62 home win over Dunav Ekont Rousse on the opening night of elimination round action in the EuroCup Women.

Playing at home in Cyprus, Imperial trailed 62-59 after Diana Hristova Naydenova-Goryanova's three-ball with 1:23 remaining in the contest.

Neuchatel Confident Ahead Of EuroCup Challenge

Universite BC Neuchatel President Jean-Philippe Jelmi insists that while he remains quietly confident going into his side's first ever EuroCup Women tie, he has realistic expectations about their chances in the competition.

The Swiss Champions travel to Austria on Thursday to take on the Flying Foxes in the first leg of the Elimination Round, with the home leg set to take place a week later.
