Team 2012-13: UE Sopron (Hungary-A)
Career: Vojvodina Nis Gas Novi Sad (Serbia-1 ZLS, 2006-08), Mizo Pecs 2010 (Hungary-A, 2008-11), UE Sopron (Hungary-A, 2011-13)
One of the most efficient young frontcourt players in Europe, the 21-year-old has made a big splash during her club career and is hoping to do the same with the Serbian national team, now she has a debut summer of action under her belt. She has established herself as one of the rising stars in EuroLeague Women with some excellent displays for both Pecs and Sopron. She showed her value during qualification for EuroBasket Women, having enjoyed a terrific youth career for her country. She averaged a wonderful 15.8 points and 11.4 rebounds-per-game in her last U20 tournament a couple of years ago. Powerful and very productive, Krnjic is rarely prolific, but almost always good value since she is a very adept finisher around the basket and has some effective post moves which cause her defenders problems. The other reason she is so economical is that she makes good choices with her shot selection and is just as happy to recycle the ball, kick it out of the paint or do hard work for others setting screens. She is very good on the glass too and her rebounding will be important.
