Dovydas Redikas and Paulius Dambrauskas combined 15 points each for the losing side. Once again turnovers were causing damage to Lithuania who finished with 18 today, twice more than their opponent. A close first quarter saw Serbia take a 24-20 lead after the first 10 minutes, and Lithuania opened the following period with 4 points to balance the score yet that's when things changed. Serbia started to hit from long range, and a series of turnovers by Lithuania - five in less than three minutes - made it a 45-24 game late in the second half. Serbia continued to control the game and Nedovic connected great plays in the second half to even increase the gap some more. Tomorrow Serbia will take on the other winner of today - Austria while Lithuania and Croatia will fight to escape a scary 0-2 record. |
