After making her senior debut last summer by playing in seven of the eight qualification games, it may seem like a challenge for Baltic to keep her place with the recent arrival of some fierce frontcourt competition. However, her unquenchable thirst for rebounding and willingness to throw herself on loose balls, work hard and generally put the team first, means she is a tough customer for opponents and difficult to ignore fo Coach Maljkovic who brought her to Belgrade at the start of last season. She started her career in Kraljevo with her hometown club, then spent four years in Slovenian basketball with Maribor, before moving to Partizan where she has been a real hit. Not a player who regularly finds herself near the top of the scoring charts, it's the appetite for the intangibles and other things you don't see on the statistics which go in her favour. She was handed plenty of minutes during a successful club season and that shows the level of trust her coach has in her.
