The result gives Spain a spot in next summer's U19 FIBA World Championship according to FIBA regulations.
Serbia remained alive for a chance to possibly defend their U19 FIBA World Championship title by knocking off Russia 85-63 in the 5th-8th place games which can eventually lead to a spot in the U19 Worlds.
Bojan Subotic scored 22 points to lead the Serbs, who will play Spain for fifth place. Spain overcame Latvia 107-91 with Alberto Jodar scoring 21 points and Jorge Santana had 20.
Israel bounced back from a tough defeat against Italy to upset Serbia 65-61 at the U18 European Championship Men in Pyrgos.
Yotam Shiran led the way for Israel with 14 points while Ben Reis had 12 and Tamir Ariely scored 10 as Dan Franko's team improved to 2-3 in the Qualifying Round Group E.
Nikos Pappas tallied 23 points and hosts Greece put on a defensive display in dominating Serbia 72-59 in Amaliada, to make sure of a spot in the semi-finals of the U18 European Championship Men with a game to spare in the Qualifying Round.
Kostas Sloukas collected 14 points and nine rebounds and Leonidas Kaselakis had 10 points as Greece remained undefeated.
