Estonia Edge Montenegro For Second Win


Estonia bounced back after the loss to Sweden by defeating Montenegro, 76-72, on the third day of the U20 European Championship Classification Round for 13th to 16th Place.

Jaan Puidet led the Estonians with 20 points and six rebounds, Rauno Nurger had 12 points and six boards, while Rannar Raap chipped in with 10 points for the winners.

Danilo Nikolic collected a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds for Montenegro, as Marko Mugosa added 20 points, six rebounds and four assists in a losing effort.

Estonia improved to a 2-1 record in the four-team group while Montenegro dropped to 1-2.
