Masa Stanisic

Nineteen year old Masa Stanisic is another young rising talent who represents the next generation of players for Montenegro. To date she is yet to get to play in European competition having spent her fledgling professional career with her hometown club and she also hasn't had an opportunity with the National Team either having not been chosen to play during the Qualifying Round last summer. Nevertheless, her time will surely come. She is knocking on the door and one of the players in the frame to be a surprise inclusion for the final roster at EuroBasket Women 2011. She played in the U20 European Championship Women in Gdynia during 2009 and would certainly benefit from the experience of a major tournament if given the opportunity, although a sprinkling of bench time is all the guard would reasonably expect if she is given the final nod. Has a good basketball IQ for a young player and isn't afraid to put the ball on the floor and penetrate or take an outside shot.
