Biljana Turcinovic

The younger sister of Biljana Turcinovic, Ana is a rising star who has been sensational at youth level for Montenegro, averaging superb numbers during three years at U16 level. She debuted as a U16 player when only 13-years-old and then averaged a tournament double-double in 2008 aged just 14. Last summer, she got to step up to the senior National Team and managed to find a handful of minutes off the bench during the Qualifying Round at the tender age of just 16-years-old. While the current Montenegro frontcourt is really powerful, she has already shown that trend looks likely to continue as the next generation comes through to the fore in years to come. A superb prospect, she is playing with many other great young players at Merkur Celje in Slovenia where she was named in the Slovenian All Star game. Turcinovic is a superb prospect for the future who is still only learning the game.
