Gintare Petronyte tallied 31 points and 12 rebounds as Lithuania could do little wrong in streaking past Montenegro 100-48 in Group F of the U20 European Championship for Women.
The captain had 15 points and seven rebounds in the first quarter for Lithuania, who improved to 1-3 in the Qualifying Round group.
And Radvile Autukaite (15 points) and Dovile Miliauskaite (13) both hit for double digits off the bench.
Montenegro, the 2007 Division B champions, were paced by 22 points from Milica Jovanovic while Snezana Aleksic added 10 points and seven rebounds.
Montenegro saw Lithuania score the first six points of the game and trailed just 13-10 after Aleksic's lay-up four minutes into the game. But Lithuania went on a 11-2 run to finish the quarter ahead 24-12 and then hit the first 12 points of the second period for a 36-12 advantage. And it was 43-14 after Miliauskaite's basket.
Lithuania led 45-19 at the break and continued to build up their lead throughout the second half. Rasa Kreivyte's team led 67-34 after three periods. And the Lithuanian reserves knocked down five three-pointers in the final period as the lead grew to 52 points.
